In this tutorial, we will use the example input list that is linked twice within the text. The list contains five entries, a gene described by its Entrez Gene identifier (1212), a protein desribed by its UniProtKB identifier (CLH1_HUMAN), a gene described by its gene symbol (HD), a protein described by its UniProtKB accession number (Q08722), and, for demonstrational purposes, a wrong identifier (bad identifier).
When a batch query is issued to DASMIweb, the system will first check each of the input identifiers. Depending on the selected search mode, it will treat the input differently. To define the search mode, click on the blue myDASMI rectangle in the middle of the right border.
