DASMIweb tutorial: The basics

Step 8: Browsing through interactions

After clicking on the "next" arrow, the the interactions 51 to 100 will be shown in the interaction table. Note that the interactions are not ordered alphabetically, but according to the time when DASMIweb received them. Fast responding sources or those that report few or none interactions will usually be listed on the first pages, while slower sources or those that return many interactions will appear later. In the example below, only interactions from HiMAP and POINT are shown on the second page, as these were the sources that reported the largest number of interactions for BRCA2 (50 and 77 interactions, respectively).

In several rows, like the CBX3 row, there are several entries in the ID column seperated by commas. This indicates that there are several Entrez Gene identifier for this entry in the iProClass mapping database, thus DASMIweb presents all of them. To request the remaining interactions, we again click on the "next" arrow.
